Why do all the cats in neighborhood choose to hang out at my house? Do my cats invite them over? It looks like one of those multi cat kitty litter commercials over her. They're not strays, they all go home eventually but it's kinda weird.

Chances are they are using your garden as a litter box. My mother-in-law just bought a house and ALL of the cats in the neighbourhood would always hang out there (she doesn't own any cats) We found out that they were using her garden as a littler box. I guess once one goes there, the next cat has the urge to cover the first scent with it's own and so on. My M-I-L didn't want to harm the cats but wanted them out. She went to a pet store and bought pheromone pellets (keyto I think). She sprinkled them in the garden (after changing most of the poop littered soil) and the cats have (for the most part) stayed away.

The same thing happens over here. But yeah if you feed ur cats outside and your cats are outdoor cats then they could bring them over. Also they will keep coming if you give them attention. If you try to run them off they may not come again. If ur cats are not fixed and they are females then i would get them fixed cause the other cats could be coming over cause they like ur female cats. Sometimes cats just like the habitat there in. :-)

Do you get a lot of sun? They like warm places. Also, if your yard is a little higher than most it would be a good vantage point; cats like to see whats going on.

It sure looks to me like those puddy cats know a good person when they find one. Animals are like that you know. They know who good and whos bad. Keep it up.

If your cats are outside, then that's probably one reason.
Do you leave food out? That will also bring them around.
