go to puppyfind.com and look at the yorkies puppies they have there and that is mostly the best or average cost you are going to get.
now the thrifty nickel has them somewhat cheaper sometimes. those are 2 sites or places you could do you best for your answer for your math project.

I think it varies by the breeder/seller. I had a yorkie a few years ago, and I paid $300 for it. He was AKC certified, up to date on shots, and in really great health. So I think it just depends on where you get it from, and the other things I mentioned.

the ones at the pet shop sell for 1000. i know..way too much.
