Her girlfriend broke up with her 2 months ago after a 4 year relationship for a guy. She obviously didn't like the guy that much because she is already back. Well my friend still lived in the house watched the kids, cooked, cleaned, paid bills and remained faithful. Her ex wants her back and want's to control her life. She changed her number so no one can call her and told her not to talk to me anymore. She loves her but doesn't want to be in a jail senerio to be with her. What should I tell her to do?

ask her this: would she let a guy lock her away? how would she react to her daughter being held captive? is abusive love really worth it when your children are watching? just remember she must realize this on her own or she will continue to go back to this other woman. gay or straight, male or female, many people think a few moments of pleasure is worth a lifetime of pain. its not. tell her she deserves happiness and if she cant find it in her current partner then she would do well to look else where.

your best bet is to TRY to get your friend alone. And talk with her(away from her new g/f) let her know your concerned for her. Is there anyone else who has thee the pattern of behavior that you have seen cause if need be bring them too so you can all share your concern for her and that this kinda of relationship of being controlled in that way is NOt healthy in any way.
