Full size, mid size or compact? Truck based or crossover? There are to many variables. If I had to choose I would say: Full size truck based: Chevy Tahoe. Midsize truck based: Ford Explorer. Compact: Ford Escape. Full size crossover: Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave. Midsize crossover: Chrysler Pacifica

I was just provided with the opportunity to test the new BMW x5, in both of its forms, the 260 hp 3.0, and the 350 hp 4.8.

Awesome!!!!! First we drove with professional drivers on a road course with the 4.8, it handled like a sports sedan. And then we took the 3.0 off road, including 45 degree inclines and declines. It was incredible.

I've thoroughly driven many cars and SUV's. This is by far the best suv (sav) on the planet.

2007 Chevy Tahoe. Completely redesigned. If you want to make Ram Hemi owners like me jealous, get a Chevy Avalanche with more horsepower than a Hemi.
