I'm old fashion. If you had a good time call her the next day and let her know. You don't have to set another date but just let her know you had a good time. Wait 3 days then call her for another date. Maybe for drinks after work through the week. Have fun

If you had a good time on a first date but werent able to secure a second date during the first, then base it on both of your feelings. If you are really into her, and if she seemed into you, if you think there was chemisty, and especially if there was a good night kiss, call her the next day to thank her for the date. That will let her know how you feel, and will pleasantly surprise her by showing her you are sensitive and confident. However, if you arent sure you are stoked about her, or if she didnt make it clear she liked you, call on the third day after the date. Waiting three days is standard, and she will expect that. Just dont wait longer ithan that if you want to have a chance with her. She will write you off as insensitive iand uninterested f you dont call by day 3. Good luck with you and your new beaux.

Depends on how well the date went. If the date went well 1-2 days afterwards is good. Many women and men feel insecure about their social skills. I would hate to be waiting for a call after a date. If it didn't go all that smooth, you may just want to wait a few days more, that way you're still polite by following up, but you are showing less interest so he/she will not be lead on.

I think after a first date..If you like the girl and the girl seems like you too..so what for waiting many days to call....you should call her the next day...or that night....because the girl will know that you like her....she will happy...

Call the next day if you really like her, let her know you enjoyed the date. Then wait a few days to call and ask her out again.

I agree with the person who said the "hard to get" game is old. Call him or her the next day, tell them you had a nice time, ask when you can do it again. If the person hmmms and hahs then bow out politely...wait a few more days. Try one more time after that and if the person puts you off again, don't call anymore. Just be honest and good luck, my friend.

if the date went well, call her later that night, tell her what a nice time you had, ask her to call you the next day. It will make her day. Why would you want to leave a person you're interested in total anxiety mode waiting for you to call?
sorry for answering your question with a question

i think it's best, if you relaly enjoyed yourself.. to call back the next day and just say what a good time you had the night before..and have some small chit-chat.. then i would suggest calling a couple of days later to make a 2nd date (if it didn't get brought up in the first phone call) but quite honestly, if you enjoyed yourself.. i would wait no longer than a couple of days to show interest.

Depends on the date. If it was great then call 2 days later, make plans for the following week.
