I am having a early christmas dinner for 9 people tomorrow, forget the fact I have NEVER made turkey before. I have a bigger issue to deal with. I just moved in to a new rental and only 3 of the 4 elements are working. I am making peas, carrots, stuffing (stovetop), gravy and mashed potatoes. Obviously I don't have enough elements to cook them all. I want to make sure all of the food is warm and ready at the same time, what can I do?

What you do to keep your sanity is #1 prep as much stuff as you can ahead of time. Chop all you vegtables and put them in plastic bags to use tomorrow.Peeled potatoes need to be either blanched in hot water or kept in cold water to avoid discoloring. #2 The other trick is to pre cook as many things as possible about 1/2 way and continue the cooking tomorrow. Although Turkey is best when cooked in one shot .
Making sure that the food is hot requires another trick. #3 Put your dishes and serving bowls in the oven after you have taken the turkey out of the oven to rest.Resting before carving lets the juices run back into the meat and gives you a moister bird. As you finish preparing a dish put it in the serving bowl and cover tightly. Good luck.

Seems as if your biggest problem is stress. If your mashed is from scratch you can free up that burner after boiling the potatoes. Then do all the three remaining side dishes at once. The prepared mashed will stay warm enough after prepared, just keep the top covered with a towel if no lid is available.

make the potatoes and stuffing. 1st
heat the vegetables, and make the gravy 2nd
put aluminum foil over each in bowls and cover with their lids
if no lids double wrap with foil
try to have it all heated and done right before everyone eats

if you have an oven you can bake the stuffing while the turkey is baking.
