"No negative answers" or " Only nice opinions" Isnt that the same as saying " Just tell me what I want to hear?"

How about "My dog has been hit by a car and is bleeding profusely, what can I do? Don't tell me to go to the vet, I can't afford it?"

Or "Aside from obedience training, how can I make my dog behave?"

Or "How do I keep my dog from running away? I don't want to leash him or put up a fence"

WHAT-ever.

All the "please wave your magic wand and make everything all right without me having to put any effort or money into it" questions are getting to me.....

No.

Some questions are obvious "take the dog to the vet" questions, but others that involve training or home remedies, are answered with "your not a good owner...find the poor thing a home." There must be many animal activists on this site, not just plain animal lovers. I grew up in a home were we did not have a lot of money, and as a kid, I wanted a dog. We did not really have the money to pay for medical expenses (single mom with 4 kids...husband passed and she was on salary...worked 60hrs a week, got pd for 40). The only reason we were able to take our animals to the vet, is because my mom WORKED for the vet. If she had had a regular job, we would not have had the money to take them. People think the worst here. Sometimes you have to read between the lines on the questions asked. I knew the woman with the 8month old poodle was not going to KILL her dog. She was frustrated and needed some advice. Most answers were to find the puppy a new home. How many of us had been frustrated when we bring a new puppy home, and for 2 weeks you don't get a full nights sleep?!

Any way, that is my opinion.

No i have said that because people can have really rude remarks that have nothing to do with the question. So by that statement they want real answers not sarcastic remarks.

I think they mean that they just want people to not be rude and mean in their answers. There's no reason to get nasty with someone just because you disagree with them.
