But it is not "anti-semitic" to expose and reprove evil wherever it is found, even if it happens to be found among the Jews. Scripture exhorts us to "reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and doctrine."

Anti-Semitism is being against Semitic speaking people. This includes Jews and Arabs.

This is often confused with anti-Zionism. Anti-Zionism is being against Jews.

So to say an Arab person is anti-Semitic is to say they are against themselves.

The time period anti-semitic refers explicitly to anti-Jewish, it replaced into coined by an anti-semite. The time period Semitic somewhat refers to any human beings of center eastern descent (e.g. Jews, Arabs) or the langauges they communicate (e.g Hebrew, Arabic). at the same time as Semitic can examine with those human beings or languages, anti-Semitic is expressly anti-Jewish.

Jews did not crucify Jesus...the Romans did.

And to the person earlier who said that Israel is violent displacing native Palestinians daily:

Israel recently completed a pullout of settlements in Gaza and is in no way displacing anyone EXCEPT the Jewish settlers in the disputed territories. Also, Palestinians are mix of Jordanian, Egyptian, and other Middle Eastern nationalities who were kicked out of their countries both BEFORE and AFTER the formation of Israel in 1948. The fact that they gave themselves the same name as the British mandate of Palestine was an attempt to imply a connection between them and the land of Israel, even though there was none.

Basically, anti semitism is a hatred focused on all people of Middle Eastern descent, and yeah you're right it isn't anti-semitic to show evil people practice. Just because some people don't like what Jews do, they shouldn't be labled as anti-semitics.
For instance, when Mel Gibson directed the movie, The Passion of Christ, people believed that he was anti semitic because the movie showed Jewish people crucifying Christ, which was an actual historic event. I don't think thats anti-semitic.

What it is NOT is opposition to Israel. No matter what almost all (absolutely not all) Jewish organizations try to express, opposition to Israel is grounded in the belief that Israel was created on land already inhabited by violently displacing the Palestinians. Israel continues to displace Palestinians daily to create settlements. Opposition to such action should never be insulted by being described as anti-semitism. It is humanitarian conscience and takes guts, because Israel tries quite successfully to equate it with anti-senitism. Not all Jews agree with the actions of the state of Israel nor are they self-hating Jews for that matter. They are religious and respect and celebrate their beliefs. They simply have a conscience and recognize that Israel shamefully treats and treated a whole group of people (who happen to be Semites, by the way).

I can't blame the anti-semites. These huge monsters crowd our highways, belch black diesel fumes and often crack our windshields by throwing stones. The drivers are forced to drive too many hours to feed their families and we've destroyed a once thriving railway system. Even still, these trucks are a necessity and I urge tolerance.

Jews aren't angels, you know. They can do something wrong too. People should be able to speak up against that without being labeled anti semitic.

I especially love the white seig-heil used in your organization's logo. Classy.

Let's face it, there are idiots and criminals of every faith, color, and nationality. Persecuting someone for comitting a crime is commendable, persecuting the same person because he doesn't agree with you on how to properly worship your diety (like it or not, Jews, Christians, and Muslims all worship the same god), is idiotic.

Why don't you come up with a reasonable, well-thought, and well-researched position and repost?

if Semitic peoples include both Arabs and Jews...and we know how those two groups feel about each other, then aren't most Jews and Arabs antisemitic?
