Is there a SURE way to get to Heaven?

I'm going to come from the perspective of a Bible-believing Christian. You can look up the references I'll provide online at http://www.biblegateway.com/
Well, for starters, it's healthy to be afraid of God. The Bible says that "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 1:7). God is everything we aren't... perfect, holy, all-knowing. Everything we need to be but can't be.
Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6). Heaven is where the Father (God) is. Jesus is saying that He is the only way to get there. So, what does this mean?
Jesus was God in human form. This means he shared all the attributes of God in that he too was perfect and without sin (shortcomings, failures, wrongdoings). He died on the cross in the place of all humankind in order to pay the penalty for our sins. The Bible says that everyone has sinned (Romans 3:23) and that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ" (Romans 6:23).
Once we have accepted that we are sinners and have acknowledged that we need Jesus as our saviour, we just ask for forgiveness through prayer (talking to God). Romans 10:9
"if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
At this point, having done that you have NO reason to fear God. He claims you as His friend and you can anticipate meeting Him face to face one day in Heaven.

The only way to get to Heaven is through faith and good works. You are to fear the Lord! Be in fear of His just wrath and be in awe of His love.
God tells us in the Old Testament the sure way to get to Heaven. Follow ALL of His laws, always believe will all your heart, soul, mind and being. Love your enemies, your neighbors and yourself. And be Christ like in all that you do. Simple enough? It can be done but takes hard work and dedication and a free-will. People have gotten to Heaven in the past and will in the future. You just have to have faith and do as the good Lord commands.

Accepting Jesus as your savior and asking God to forgive all your sins is the way. Of course you need to be very sorry for the sins and not want to go back to them. After a person becomes a Christian you need to read the bible and pray every day to get to know the Lord better. You should have a healthy respect for God, but you don't have to be fearful of Him, if you are trying to live for Him. I wish you the best.

You don't have to be afraid of God. You have to just be afraid of going to hell. God loves everyone and wants everyone to go to heaven. All you got to do is to admit you are a sinner and believe in Him. Tell God that you are a sinner and that you want to turn from your wicked ways and turn to Him. Start reading His word. Start reading in the book of John. I will be praying for you.

God is love! How can you be afraid the purest form of love?. Even on an Earthly plain, love is wonderful.
The sure way to go to heaven is tobelieve in Jesus Christ and to be righteous with all your judgments and actions.

If you're afraid of God, why do you want to live in His Home?
Alternately, if you want to go to Heaven, why be scared of the Owner?
We are SUPPOSED to fear, ie, respect God. But we are also supposed to realize that He loves us more than we can understand. He won't harm you!

Jesus say unless you are born again you will not see heaven. Born again means being baptized and your goals are to please God by keeping his commandments but this is impossible for man. So accept Jesus as your personal Savior and invite him into your heart and he will work through you. Perfect Love casts out all fear. God is Love its Sin and Satan that makes you afraid.

John 3:3 says "Unless you are born again you cannot see the Kingdom of God" -this means to be born of the Spirit of God renewed and washed clean of sin by believing in what Jesus Christ did for you- then you receive the Holy Spirit, and are sealed with it- as it says in Ephesians 1.
It is only through Jesus Christ! He says "I am the only way, truth and life and no one comes to the Father but through Me" John 14:6
-You need to realize that you have sinned against God- look at His law and ask yourself if you have ever broken it....according to God's standards that is sin And Romans 3:23 says we have all fallen short of His glory and sinned against Him- and all sin needs forgiveness through blood...Jesus Christ is that one sacrifice for those who believe, He died on the cross and rose again, so we who believe will have eternal life in heaven and given a new heart- cleansed, justified and sanctified in His holy spirit....The Bible says:
Romans 10:9-10 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Jesus said that a sure way to go to heaven was to sell everything you own and give it to the poor.
I'm not joking one bit.
Isn't it odd that so many Christians still own cars and houses?

don't be afraid of God, just talk to him like you would talk to the people you love. God is my best friend, He is my heavenly father and if you truly believe in Him , ask for your sins to be forgiven and get a bible and read His word I'm sure you will go to heaven.People fear what they don't know but when you get to know Him you will not fear Him.
