If you like someone .. should you tell them that you like them, or to keep a secret.

Juliya, often we are reluctant to come out and tell someone we like them because we're afraid of rejection. But consider, right now you have nothing. If you ask, perhaps you'll have something. If you don't ask, you've already accepted "no" as the answer. Also, consider this; a "rejection" isn't anything against you, just a statement that he's not interested. You are, after all, your own best friend. If he doesn't recognize how great you are, you wouldn't be interested in him anyway. So ask...if he says "yes", great. If he says "no", don't worry about it, because you are still the great you you always have been. And always will be.

Why not tell them? I think we need more details to your question dude. Have you been friends with this person for a while or do you barely talk to them. Either way, the way to go is to ask them out on a date. If the date goes well then say you enjoyed your time with them, ask the person for their number, then call the next day. Plan another time to get together. If the date doesn't go well... then call them and see if being friends will work out.

If you tell them you like them.....they might turn you down, but if you never tell them.......they might have secrelty like you too: meaning that you just missed an opportunity. The best thing you can do is to say what's on your mind. So you might get an anwer you weren't looking for.......WHO CARES! Don't let that change your personality.
