Recovering alcoholic, former drug abuser( 5 doctors can't understand how I'm even still alive), had always used sex as a tool to get whatever I wanted, 2 failed marriages, got money thru ill gotten gains..........I was literally thrown to my knees, I was shown something that turned my life right around...........it was simply my age.........how many years I spent drunk, and wasted on drugs. The lives that I hurt, by them watching me wither away. Someone told me that They loved me....really and truly loved me..........and that They were hurting just watching me hurting myself. From 14 to 40 my life was not a waste but surely was wasted. 10 years later, I have nothing material except what I need, my income went from 75k to 31k, sober, and celibate, I work with the homeless for volunteer work only..........and I'm happier than I could have ever imagined. I reached out and one hand held mine, and carried me out of my self-imposed ruins, a hand I will never let go of, and He will never let go of mine..........Jesus is my true Savior.

Oh besides saving me, who is the worst of sinners! That is a miracle in itself- salvation!! I have seen people who hated God completely turn to Him and I have seen God move in their lives and save them- which is by far amazing! I love when I see the Lord draw someone and convict them of sin and see them humbled at His feet.
He has done all kinds of things in my life- taking care of us when we had no money, and we would be given money when we needed it without asking...which is ONLY due to God...I have seen a lot of God's work in my parent's lives...they have the best testimony!! He has kept me on his narrow path, which is a great blessing and apart from Him I know I can do nothing...Just as He tells us! I find that more true every single day.I was raised christian so I never fell into drugs or alcohol really...but I did fall into sin, and felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit- and I knew that the Lord was showing me my sin. He always puts me right back on that narrow path, which I would be absolutely LOST if I did not have the Lord in my life. My comfort, my hope, my saviour, my friend, and my deliverer!! All Glory belongs to God~

I recognize God's hand in my life in many ways. God has brought me where I live now for a reason. He has also given me many blessings and through Him my life has changed dramatically and for the better. My whole attitude has changed. I'm not nearly as impatient or angry as I once was. My life has improved in the ways that matter. I may not have a lot of "things", but that's not what's important. And just knowing that life isn't about the material things you have, but about what kind of person you are - when no one is looking, has been a great blessing for me.

So many testimonies...thank u JESUS! Well my first experiance of healing went like this. First time i prayed for someone to healed, she was a homeless women. She had a broken arm but couldnt afford a cast and so she had a sling. She broke it from beating her husband. Anyways i prayed for and all the pain left. She punched me and my friends hand to see if it was really healed. She was! I at the time of praying for her had a broken arm myself. I had a cast though, only broke it for 2 weeks. Went to doctors in a few days and found out it was completly healed! About a inch of bone grew, they had both xrays. They said that it was impossible what happened. Jesus rocks!

My story is the same and equal to yours. Another testimony is that I have seen people healed before my very eyes and god is defiant real. When one sees his holy spirit in operation that is awesome. It is more awesome when one has a relationship with the holy spirit as well. Now remember that God, Jesus and the holy spirit is one.

I think it shows enormous hutzpah to expect God to take time out of his busy schedule to cure your bulimia and alcoholism etc etc. Wouldn't have been more efficient to simply not let you acquire these problems in the first place?
Face it. We're on our own. We cultivate our own gardens.
Its funny how nobody ever finds Jesus on prom night.
