Well, judging by the run down trailer parks full of believers here in the Good Old Deep South, I'd say it must mean I am God. YAY ME!
Really though... I imagine that there are some in both groups who are downright disgusting and some in both groups that are neat freaks.

If you check out the lives of the saints they were not very clean. Most of them are noted for their aroma(?) of saintliness.
