What's the common practice in today's dating world?

They are used for both. Although many don't use them for Oral sex the smart ones do. Thats why they come in a variety of flavors!

They are supposed to be used fot both but I think with oral, many just skip out since they think condoms mainly protect against pregnancy. But really they are used to protect against STD s as well, which you can get through performing oral. In the US, I think people mainly just use them during intercourse.

To be precise condoms are used orally and vaginally, but you must know how to use them are it would defeat the purpose of using them.

they are used for both but most younger kids think that they dont have to use one when having oral sex because they do not think about the diseases u can get from oral sex... they think because they cant get pregnant from oral sex that they dont have to use a condom

Well you can catch STD/Is in your mouth too! So it's advisable that when giving oral sex, your partner should wear a condom. Therefore, I presume that people know this and are sensible in the US.

In any society, a person should use condoms when they have ANY kind of sex.....diseases don't care who you are or that you've been with the same person for eons and just broke up...be safe, use a condom
