the robe is not the problem, it's the hood and the pointy top. Like most americans, i like to see the face of the person i'm talking to. Also, i find the pointy hat funny and would laugh, which is rude and not very pc. You shouldn't laugh at people, but i would have a hard time not doing it, and that wouldn't be very nice. but if they can work successfully in thier sheet dresses (without causing injury to themselves or others) than whatever. They'd probably lose money as a lot of people would take one look at them and refuse to do business, but it would also kinda be nice knowing who's who so can i can decide who not to give my money to.

As a cab driver, that may prove interesting. We do have Hairy Chreisnas who drive wearing their pink robes.

About as affected as I'd be if an SCA member wearing a suit of homemade ringmail and elf costume was bagging my groceries.

It'd take all the fun out of 'pick out the loser' as a good chunk would be on display, but I honestly can't say it'd really bother me so much. Still say it'd be a lot more proud if they didn't hide under sheets.

How dare they say the bible agrees with them.
