what happens when you loose your S.S number?
i didnt loose mine im smart enough to keep it somewhere safe

you call the Security Office and let them know that it's lost and you can apply for a new card. it doesn't give you a new number but it gives you a new card and they can put alerts on your ssn. but if you apply for credit in any form they will then need extra verifications

Ask your mom. She'll know. Seriously though, if you ever loose your card, you just go to the local social security office with id and ask for a replacement.
