Not everyone believes in the Bible, and so there is a lot of controversy. It hasn't been proved, and so people don't find it to be true.
Personally, I believe in the Bible, but that is just me.

Egyptians said that a god on a lotus flower created all of us, why do some people fight that? The Mayans said that two gods created four animals that created everything, why do some people fight that? Raelians (who interpret the Bible more accurately and literally than most Christians) say that the Bible says Aliens created us, why do some people fight that?
Because there are people who choose to think for themselves instead of taking someone else's myths literally and uncritically.

The Zechariah prophecies are extremely poignant and advise events like a nuclear holocaust with its ineffective and absence of existence. a super type of the "end of the international" human beings look to ignore appropriate to the previous testomony prophecies that project the events preferable as much as the "super and Dreadful Day of the Lord" which would be greater detrimental and terrible than the days of the Bubonic Plague that wiped out a third of the inhabitants of Europe. between the flaws that i've got back and back stated (and gotten TDs for) is that we ought to continuously no longer hardship appropriate to the top of the international, yet spend our time right here on the earth residing our faith, which contains charity (organic love) in direction of all and not the vitriolic hatred that often contains condemnation of others to hell for their ideals.

lol. Think about that a little. You believe a book that was written by mankind when we still believed the earth was flat, that talks about immaculate conception, a stick turning into a snak, a sea parting, water turning into wine, a man walking on water and rising from the dead.
Think about it. Doesn't that sound stupid to you?

Boy, when you're right, you're right. Now describe God to us (never mind that we were "made in his image") I mean describe him per the Bible. (Big, tall, young, old? Male, female? Human?) He's clearly described, right?

nope. there is still no scientific proof that "god" created mankind. there is no proof of anyone doing anything for me to "save" me. i do not believe anyone died on the cross for me OR was resurrected. if i claimed to be god and wrote a new book would you follow it? just because it says so?
