Man looks on the outward apperance but God looks on the heart- just as the Bible says...so of course inward beauty is far more important and has nothing to do with the physical. However I can say that when you see JOY in a persons face or can sense they are filled with the Spirit of the Lord- that does make them beautiful no matter what! That is what I think anyway....

They have an analogical connection.
Physical beauty is the right proportion of form and symmetry that pleases when seen.
Spiritual beauty is the right proportion of spiritual attributes, such as integrity, purity, veracity, endurance, goodness etc. that please the intellectual understanding when perceived by the intellect (but only a relatively pure intellect will be pleased by that. A degenerate intellect would find it repulsive).
Then there is intellectual beauty which is the right order, symmetry, and form of intellectual concepts, as one concept pleasingly integrates and dove-tails with the others.
As someone once said: "Truth is Symphonic."

It is as rare as a four leaf clover to see someone who is beautiful on the inside & outside. But there are some gorgeous people who I wouldn't want to spend a moment with. Their insides WREAK of vanity & selfishness. Now, there are some people ummmmmmmm not so nice to look at, who just exude kindness friendliness, hospitality, generousity, humbleness & sincerity. I would rather hang out with the unpleasant looking kind people than the vain meanness usually associated w/ pretty people.:o]
Of course there is room for exceptions. There certainly are people who could be called beautiful inside out. They're just rare.

spiritual beauty....is not physical beauty
nice star trek icon
I condemn false prophets, I condemn the effort to take away the power of rational decision, to drain people of their free will -- and a hell of a lot of money in the bargain. Religions vary in their degree of idiocy, but I reject them all. For most people, religion is nothing more than a substitute for a malfunctioning brain." - Gene Roddenberry the creator of star trek

Physical beauty is the most important. That's what people see first, and what attracts.

Quite a bit if you consider your body to be a temple of God. How well you take care of it reflects on your spiritual nature.
