I hate life in general and have never been happy.

I enjoyed life as a child and I enjoy my life now.

I was probably lucky in that my parents were not well off. They made sure that I had enough to eat I was not deprived of any necessities. I did not have access to some of the luxuries that my friends had but this did not matter as I was loved.

As I have aged, my circumstances have changed and now both my parents are dead. My life is very different to that when I was a child. But it is enjoyable none the less.

Surely the moral is to make the best of what you have. Few circumstances are completely negative. In other words, count your blessings and be happy.

I enjoy both of it as its a totally different kind of enjoyment.

When you were young, you have no worries, all you need to do is eat, sleep, play and have fun, everything is being planned out for you, everone will fuss all over you and oh! some much attention, your parents will protect you BUT probably the "not so enjoying moment" will be doing home works.

I am in my 30's now and I do enjoy my life in a different way as you are more experienced and you get to discover what you like to do, how to do things that you really enjoy, you will planed for your own future, getting married have kids. All this are different kind of enjoyment.

However in everything that you enjoy, there is always a price to pay. Its like when you are young you cant wait to grow up BUT when you are older you wish you were younger.

I enjoy life now more. I am more in control of my life. I grew up in a environment where I was left to be molested more than once & where we moved so much I was never at a school long enough to make real friends. So, even as an adult, I don't have any close friends that I hang out with or anything. I've never been able to get close to people in that way. I have co-workers & acquaintances.

Both and neither, but in separate ways.
When I was young things seemed hard that looking back were so simple (homework, getting to school onetime, deciding which friend could spend the night). Yet when I was young the things that are hard now weren't even issues (mortgage, work, bills).

Now life is fulfilling in ways I could never have imagined. I have my own child, my own business, and a loving marriage. Still, at times I relish in the memories of less responsibility. But I wouldn't trade now for a chance to go back!

Now as I have a super husband and family and feel I am loved and don't always have to prove myself. My parents were very religious and very strict and I always felt I was different as I wasn't allowed to do things other kids did like go to the pictures etc.Now I am so relaxed and contented and I don't get told all the time how I should be living my life.

Being a grown up is great. You have to deal with some crappy bits like bills and work but you get to make your own choices in life you can chose what time you go to bed, you can eat what you like buy what ever you want. you still get the usual family member questioning your every move but its your decision.because your an adult. I don't have any children but when I do that is going to be a brilliant chapter of my life having the responsibility of another human-being that depends on you for everything for the first stage of their life and caring and looking out for them for the rest of your life knowing you created another human being!

Now because I am happy and content with 4 lovely children and nearly 5 grandchildren. When I was a child I was beat up and bullied just because I was different. Now I am grown up and mature, I am proud to be different, it's what make me the person I am.
