When your bridal party entered the reception, how were you announced? Was it quietly, with music, by gender or what? And if it was to music, what song were you playing or plan to play?

The last wedding i went to the DJ announced the Guys first to "Here comes the men in black" and the girls were announced using "We are family" (they were all related)

Well my wedding is in May, but I have thought about this and this is what we are going to do....
My wedding party is going to walk in with their partner, so one bridesmaid to one groomsmen and the music is going to be a pummpy song, like Usher's YEAH, and the dj is going to say funny things like, COuple # 1 is Name and Name, Name likes long walks on the beach, and eating pudding... or something silly like that. It should be funny. and it will get everyone pumped up for the wedding.

we entered the reception hall to the Empire Strikes Back theme, we picked it out for a surprise for my boys (12 and 6) we are all Star Wars fans. It was a fun surprise and they loved it. Then we (my husband and I ) introduced our bridesmaids and groomsmen and then we took the opportunity to say a little something about them.

Our's was just by couple, and it was to "love of a lifetime". I completely forgot to plan that part of the reception so it wasn't anything too memorable.
