Well i have a question you said that the child gets the beer of the table is it full and does the parents let the child drink a full beer? As i am not a bad parent but my husband gives my 2 year old a sip of his beer now and then and no not every day for people that are going to think other wise. So if the parents are letting that child drink the hole beer or even just 1/4 of the beer than yes that is wrong but if they the let that child have a sip of the beer than know it has been said that it can be healthy for the child to have a sip of BEER and only beer now and then NOT ALL THE TIME. So if you think deep down in your soul that what they are doing is wrong then yes i think that you should do something someone mention to put some pamphlets in the letter box you have to do something for that child if they are giving him/her a beer every night we have to many little kids running our streets on beer and even worse spirits and been a nuance to us so if you like to add another one on the list and know that you could of done something about it then YES DO SOMETHING NOW please don't let the child suffer it will on live in you heart and mind that you knew and did not do a thing .Good luck

What do you mean "Is that Child Abuse?" Do you really have to ask that question? The legal drinking age is 21 for a reason. Those jackazzs are killing that child. For you to know & do nothing is the same as condoning it. You can report them anonymously by calling the CHild Abuse Hotline at 1-800-342-3720 for New York. If this is not in New York, just google the number for whatever state you are in. I have friends that work for the Agency for Children Services (ACS) & yes they confirm that is definitely Child Abuse. It is a crime.
You really should make that call. You will be saving that child's life & maybe the lives of so many others.
Do the right thing.

Alcohol is extremely damaging to the neurological system of young children. Their liver does not process alcohol effectively keeping the toxin in the blood for a significant period. Research has shown that alcohol inhibitsthe brains ability to devlop new conections a process that occurs at staggering speeds during early childhood. Th process actually pearks between age 3 and 6. Due to these serious concerns most states have made providing alcohol to a child under the age of 13 child abuse. In Texas providing alcohol to a child under 18 is considered child abuse. Do this child a favor and contact CPS.

I can't tell if this is serious but i think it might be. Is there a medical reason the these people do this or...? I know that this is not Europe, but in Europe they do allow their children to drink alcohol. Not much but some. Child abuse, I don't know if I would go to that extreme. Are thye good parents this aside? I'm not saying I condone it I just don't know why they would be doing it? Do they do it and laugh about it or they just very routinely just do it. You need to be more specific.

There is a belief in some cultures that this will help the child gain weight and have a healthy heart. Perhaps they just are misinformed. You could mail them an anonymous leaflet on the effects of alcohol on children or if you feel it is really a danger and want to get them help call social services.

Hell yes it is abuse. I have seen a tot take a sip...that is one thing. But to regularly give the child a full beer a day can screw the child's brain up! Seriously, that child will be prone to learning disabilities, that alcohol is slowly eating at his brain.

I think it is abusive. I have given my kids a sip periodically. But 12 Oz. is way to much for somebody that age and size.....UNLESS, it was suggested by a doctor or something. Don't jump to conclusions there. But if their motives are that they think it is "cute," that is completely wrong and can lead to health problems and bad habits later on.
