We been going out for 3 years and he knows all my family. And I really want him to come for a little while . My family got him gifts and sometimes I feel that he doesn't fit in . How can I make him fit in and talk him into going. Thanks.

Tell him that it would really mean a lot to you if he comes over to your hosue for Christmas. So that he can fit it, have conversations that he can be included in & has connections with. Good Luck(:

You did not say WHY he would not opt to pass. Why do you imagine he would not "fit in"? you could't make him do this, btw! perchance the way your kin treats him makes him uneasy (only giving presents isn't adequate). also, examine consisting of your father and mom, in case you already know what they could be doing to reason him discomfort, and tell them to renounce it. in the journey that they don't, then appreciate his desires and go by using your self. You did not supply adequate documents to inform no matter if this is the boyfriend's concern or your kin's or both!

You didn't say WHY he doesn't want to go. Why do you think he doesn't "fit in"? You can't make him do that, btw! Maybe the way your family treats him makes him uneasy (just giving gifts isn't enough). Also, talk to your parents, if you know what they might be doing to cause him discomfort, and tell them to stop it. If they don't, then respect his wishes and go by yourself. You didn't give enough info to tell whether it's the boyfriend's problem or your family's or both!

Well, I think you should be able to just tell him how important it is to you. Maybe the question is why won't he stop by, not how can you make him. . . .

If you two are serious he should want to get to know your family better. The best way to make him "fit in" is to tell him its time to make an effort. Obviously your family is already trying (ie, getting him presents, inviting him over)

tell him there will b food, and that it means a lot 2 u. Adding and/or repeating the part about the food and presents won't hurt. Plus, make sure he knos u will b there.
