okay i was just diagnosed with mono and i have been so exhausted, my glands are swollen, my ears are sore. but i don't have a sore throat yet...but my dr said that she thinks i will get one. for anyone who has had mono before...what did you do to get through it? it is not a fun thing at all :( and it seems like all i can do is lie in bed! any tips would be helpful!

Sleep, sleep, sleep and drink cold gatorade or juices.

My main symptoms were fatigue and night sweats. I had those weeks before i got tested. just rest and give it a bit.

rest all you can. best thing for it. it affects your spleen (which helps fight off infections)-- my husband did not take care of it and he got an enlarged spleen- close to bursting. luckily they caught it on time.
