OK Lets see....Where does one start with someone who doesn't care what the bible pertains. There was this man names Moses. He had many laws that were given to him by our loving creator, Jehovah God. Law...Don't have but one sexual partner!! Effect: Venereal diseases, aids, the list goes on. Law....Bury your waste(poop). Wonder how they knew to do that without divine wisdom? Effect: Can cause diseases. The list goes on where Moses is concerned, and how he knew so many things that were to our benefit. Lets look at a man named Job. In the book of Job, you will find in Chapter26 verse 7 that he knew what scientist didn't figure out long long long time after he had died. How do you think Job knew that the earth "hung upon nothing" I could sit here all day and give you evidence of my God, but you would have to want to hear it first.
Hmmmmm......I don't mean to be rude but you are just plain ignoring what God has to say, and you refuse to look at the evidence the bible has for us all.

For all of you here who dismiss Christianity like a unwanted guest, you are not doing your homework. What is your evidence that God doesn't exist? You have faith in science. Science is an evolving discipline and new discoveries are made every day. Some of those discoveries refute past declarations that were once accepted as absolute truth. Do not be foolish enough to think you know the universe and how it came to be. Let's look at your crime scene.....we know DNA evidence is not 100% foolproof. And all the evidence collected at the crime scene is presented to a jury at trial. Does the jury come to a unanimous decision every time? Of course not. You must look at ALL the evidence presented to you with an unbiased, open mind, reason and yes, logic, and then make your decision. Then you have to take a leap of faith to rest with your decision. You take that leap, too, when you reject Christianity and embrace the notion that the universe came to be without divine intervention. So please, don't be so carefree in tossing about your comments. There is always the possibility you are dead wrong. And that, my friend, is a matter of life and death. Please seek the truth with an open mind.

What Evidence?
Radiographic dating?
Based on a theory without empirical data to confirm it.
What evidence is there against it? The Human Brain, able to absorb 10MBs of data per second, with the storage capacity to last over 10,000 years. This according to studies like the one done by the U of Michigan. What evolutionary pressured could result in the development of this capability, or did man once live this long and has de-evolved?
Our own history shows that humans lived for hundreds of years just 5000 years ago, yet that bottomed out a little over 1000 years ago, at 48 years. That is a radical change for such a short period in the overall scheme of things. Based on the theory of evolution, such a change should have taken hundreds of thousands of years. Finally, there is the change that took place 100 years ago. The generation living at the turn of the 20th century is the first generation to live longer, as a whole, than 48 years.
Twenty years ago, there were 20,000 people living pass age 100, today it is 76,000. Nearly an 800% increase. Is it because of evolution, or because the generation living at that time was not to pass away before all the signs of the second presence of Christ would not be complete before they die off?
Something of note, the so called missing links could also be the children of the fallen angels, and are the result of mixing human DNA with that of advanced beings whose base form is energy. Their children would not have appeared normal in any way and were said to be mean to the point of being animals.

The further you examine the evidence DNA and all, the more it proves the Creation from God as the Truth.
Science has a way of telling stories, however the more science tries to disprove God and His creation, the more it actually proves it out.
Being a Christian is simply a measure of ones clear understanding of the evidence and one's understanding that our Faith in God is a freedom of choice that we make on our own.
Best wishes to you my friend. I urge you to keep seeking the evidence and continue reporting on what you find. All I ask is that you be open minded and willing to acknowledge when the evidence does prove out the reality of God.

Science Gives Christians Upper Hand Over Atheists
Today's Christian no longer has to try to maintain only by faith their belief in the origin of the universe. The atheist now does.
Former atheist and award-winning Christian author Lee Strobel premiered his one-hour documentary "The Case for a Creator" to hundreds of Christians at an apologetics conference. The aftermath of the movie: Christians felt they actually learned something.
"We are actually living now at a time of tremendous intellectual renaissance of Christianity," said philosopher and author Dr. William Lane Craig.
Craig's comment came after fellow philosopher J.P. Moreland told conference participants that the church has become anti-intellectual.
"We've got to start using cognitive language and not just faith language," Moreland exhorted.
Over the last several decades, Christians have begun to emerge back into the intellectual public square. This is primarily occurring in the field of philosophy, New Testament studies with regard to the historical Jesus and the gospels, and it is now beginning to occur in the physical sciences as manifested in the Intelligent Design movement, Craig explained.
Presenting clear scientific evidence that Christians had largely been without, Strobel's "Case for a Creator" revealed a complex universe that many scientists could now only explain with the existence of some kind of intelligence.
Biochemist Michael Behe demonstrated how bacterial flagellum are molecular machines that could only function with all its parts present simultaneously, much like a mouse trap. If one part is missing, it would not function and would thus have no reason to exist. Evolution would not preserve it.
Such evidence as Behe's was presented in other scientific fields including cosmology, physics and astronomy in the documentary.
"I believe that by doing science, we find God," said Strobel.
Philosopher Jay Richards of Acton Institute concluded from his findings that the universe was designed for discovery. And with each discovery, the Darwinian theory of evolution is expected to go down as "a huge mistake in history," Richards said.
One participant, Robert Wedan, 53, praised the documentary, saying that it gave him stronger grounds to defend Creation. "It's movies like 'Case for a Creator' that I think will make it a lot easier to address those issues."
"Today, science is pointing more powerfully to a creator than any other time," said Strobel. "The most logical and rational step is to put my faith in the Creator that science tells me exists."
Now, Christians can stand confidently within biblical truth knowing that it's in line with astrophysics and cosmology, said Strobel, quoting a cosmology expert. "It is now the atheist who has to maintain by faith, despite all of the evidence to the contrary, that the universe did not have a beginning."

Some religious people like to refer to pretended evidence and claim there is proof for their beliefs, but the truth is--as anyone who has argued long enough with a true believer has discovered--that, in the end, the final words out of any theist's mouth will always be "It isn't about evidence, it's about faith." Religion always boils down to believing unbelievable things.

It's not ignoring it. I accept scientific knowledge, evidence, and facts...Even theories (but that doesn't mean I believe all theories).
But, if the evidence or whatever ever collided with my beliefs and my faith, then I would choose my beliefs. But if they don't clash against my religion, then scientific evidence is fine by me.

Evidence of what? There is plenty of material that can and does prove events that happened in the Bible...from a temple being built by Jews, but paid for by a pagan king to Jesus' birth and life...if you choose not to believe that is up to you, however your inability to allow others their own belief system is just as bad as Christians who condemn others for not believing the way they do...you can't force people to believe what you want them to or don't want them to...

Some do ignore facts, just as many atheists will ignore facts. Ignorance is not limited to religious people. Dumb people exist in all walks of life.
Did you ever think that maybe the big bang theory and creation theory describe the same events in different ways? One mathematically and one in the language of man? If you won't even consider that fact, you are ignoring potential truths simply on a prejudice against religion and closing your mind to possibilities just as badly as someone who is opposed to science over religion. You are just as guilty as they are.

No, being a Christian means that you are totally and completely ruled by reason. It is only reasonable to be influenced and ruled by the "truth claims" of God that are in the bible. This is because even though we are not able to "prove" all of them many are very provable today and they are only true they are consistently true. Our "faith" is based on all of the truth claims of God and His promises to mankind. Since God's truths are consistently true it is only reasonble, logical and common sense to accept that all of His word is true.
