Just fine... kids this age are starting to notice differences in body types, and what each gender means. By pointing out differences in the way that they go potty, you are just talking matter-of-factly about body functions and body parts. Always use the correct names of body parts, and answer questions as honestly as you can. For example, you may get from your son, "Where did sissy's pee-pee go?" when he notices her missing penis. This is a perfect opportunity to talk about the body parts that he has and the ones that sister has in a matter-of-fact way. Besides, if you are still potty-training your two year old, this is a perfect opportunity to show her how "big brother" can go by himself. Bring books, sing silly potty songs and stuff, and show them how to do things like pull up and down their pants and wash hands. It will give them some great self-help skills for the future!

My 2.5 son and 4.5 daughter take baths together and potty together (on separate potties). If you don't make a big deal about it they won't. I assume I will stop the baths at some point, but for now with mine it is a non-issue. Be cool about it and so will they.

Yes, they are too young to realize anything that would be innapropriate or thinking anything about seeing each other on the toilet. I will probably encourage the younger one to potty train if the older one already is.

I did with my 2 year old son and the 3 year old little girl I watch. Just explain that girls have girl wee-wees and boys have boy wee-wees. At that age, they're able to let you know if they want privacy. A few weeks ago, my son told me "walk, momma" when I was waiting on him to poop.

Definitly. By now they have already noticed their bodies are different and really dont care too much. I mean, realistically, they have BATHED together, havent they?
When your son starts complaining, then arrange for him to have more privacy.

Yes, the younger child will learn from watching the older sibling.

yeah, why wouldn't it be? i would supervise because kids are curious but other than that, they will learn the differences anyway. 2 and 3 is ok to know that girls have "whatever you choose to call it" and boys have "whatever else you choose to call it."
