Islam as a religion, never grew until Muhammad took up the sword and waged 66 battles in 10 years throughout Arabia. History vindicates the fact that every country which accepted Islam, did so by the sword. The Quran has many, verses that call for violence towards anyone that does not believe
and follow the ways of Islam.

Muhammad was a illiterate person who was glorified only because he wrote some highly sophisticated literature.

The Quran said the Angel Gabriel dictated the verses to him which he memorized and ask some scribes to write them. But the Bible said in 2 Corinthians 11: 14 - And no wonder, for Satan masquerades himself as the Angel of Light.

Many false religions were based on what this Angel of Light
wickedly created to sway all humans from the true Gospel of Christ. The Bible said that when the Gospel is preached through
all the earth, Christ will return and Satan will be bound and thrown into the Lake of Fire. Satan needed every cunning to survive , one way was to hinder the Gospel by creating myriads of false beliefs.

Muhammad was suppose to conquer many countries, and of course fill up his harams with pure virgins. Only Satan can
reward Evil minds with lustfull fulfillments - same way he rewarded Mormon's Joseph Smith with choicest virgins under his ungodly control. Here too you will remember a Angel Moroni
helped this illeterate write false additions to the Holy Bible.

All believers of these followers of Satan - flee from them and save yourselves from the Lake of Fire.

Seek ye the true God while He may be found.

Well...

I have read the Q'uran several times through, and the only time that violence was ever mentioned, was in response to tyranny. So, I will disagree with your point of view on the Q'uran. The 5 pillars of Islam are entirely compassion-motivated. You won't find a single solitary violent sentiment among them.

We currently are in a world that has many social and economic pressures. Islamic radicals use their religion (as a response to Tyranny) as an excuse for violence. Many Christian Fundamentalists do the same thing in this country in a verbal sense, for the very same reasons.

The Q'uran was dictated to Mohammed by the Archangel Gabriel. Mohammed brought the teachings of Islam to various peoples in various ways, but one must remember that these were primarily Godless barbarians...not that this is any excuse. I am merely stating this for comparison, because in this country, we destroyed an entire race, using that as an excuse (The Native Americans).....

The conditions that cause our perception of Islam as "violent" run deep, and will not be easily overcome. It is inappropriate to blame the religion for the bad actions of a group of evil men. This was true of Christians in the past, as well as Muslims.

I am a Buddhist, and even among Buddhist, who generally practice tolerance towards everyone, even the intolerable, there have often been evil men causing much death and suffering. Take expansionist Japan of the Pre-WWII era. They were Buddhists, and yet millions died and suffered for their "delusions."

Islam is generally a very peaceful and respectful religion. Thats like saying that christians are evil if the baptists were to start killing everyone. There is a particular sect of Islam which is militant, and these people even kill other muslims who do not agree. Your view on Islam is unfair.

And yes there are some violent things in the Quraan, but is there not an equal amount in the bible? The answer is yes.

muslims like to say the media is against them and that is why they get a bad rap.

ok so with that logic why is it the the phrase "the religion of peace" is automatically associated with islam? Why? because of the media!

any time there is criticism of muslims or islam then it is because there is a conspiracy with the media.

How about common sense is finally against islam.

Let's think hmm, someone draws a cartoon of moHAMmad and we hear millions of muslim voices in protest, rallies and someone is murdered.

Then we have according to muslims, sick bastards that have hijacked the pure and true islamic religions, these sick bastards perverted the islamic teachings and murdered thousands of people in the name of islam.

And how many muslims voices did we hear so very loudly in outrage to the so called hijacking and perversion of the islamic religion and message?

But these so called moderate muslims would rather try to silence the people who have legitimate questions of islam than to kill the problem at it's source by taking a visible stand against the so called terrorist extremist so the world can see very clearly who is indeed who.

Otherwise anyone with at least half a brain would have to at minimum consider the possibility that the moderates are helping the extremist by pretending "wink wink" that they are not in union with the extremist.

Actually you've got your facts wrong.

Let me fix that, The Quran has many, verses that call for violence towards anyone that does not believe and steal land from believers.

That context, or explicit statement is included in all 4, count them 4, passages suggesting violence towards others.

And those battles occured after they were kicked out of somewhere they considered theirs.

After that? Barely a peep till WW2 where the nazis found a group of idiots they could control because they hated the jews just as much. After that, we took out the nazis without thinking about the idiots.

No sir,
if tht were true then in all the lands tht were, according to you, converted to islam...there wouldnt be any coptic christians(and other faith groups)...there is a clear cut verse in the Quran tht says:

"there is no compulsion in religion"

this means tht anyone claiming/wanting the spread islam by force is clearly mistaken and not following the Quran.

You cannot blame christianity for what hitler, stalin and mussolini and the presidents of our country did for tht matter.

There are many more verses tht stress on tolerance, peace and excellent character. these things dont go together with killing innocent people.

Its the media's fault since it protrays islam in a negative light. but its ur fault of not doing ur research(get a copy of hte Quran and read to see for yourself and see the context)

Moreover, can u tell me which muslim army went to Indonesia(the largest muslim country) to spread islam by force? It was the exceptional character of the muslim traders and workers etc. tht changed a whole country. You probably wud want to say it was the Sword of the Intellect my friend :)

islam is not violent. the word ISLAM means PEACE. how can u say that they islam is violent religion. in islam it says to fight for ur religion, when u r attacked, and it never says that u should just go and kill people. people have bad views about islam because of whats going on these days/months/years. if u wanna know about a religion, read the books, or holybooks, not what u see today. christianity says many things which most people don't follow. i respect every religion and don't make fun of any. so have some respect, no matter what. i suugest u read some books about islam.

i don't know if you have red those verse yourself or you had heard that by someone else.By what i know islam is one of the most tolerant religions in the world. Anyway I have to say that all religions in a sense or another claim war cause they want all people to behave in a way other than another and those who doesn't do it will probably be punished. It probably was spread by sward but compered to cristianism that killed it own people it has a meaning.Or just remember what did Coertes to the polytheistic Incas.Isn't that sward spread?Anyway("thanks to God")in all of the religions of our time the radical part is just a fraction not as in the past.

This is ridiculous argument. If you follow the main stream media (MSM) which is against Islam and Muslim people you may think its true. The Quran doesn't have "many" verses which call for violence.

It only says that if the enemy attacks you...don't fear and have trust in Allah (SWT) and retaliate.

Probably you are brainwashed and adherent follower of Fox news and CNN.

To sum up...you are not seeing the truth my friend.

66? did u read about islam b4 u post any thing??
plz do urself a favour and read abook.

islam is never violent, in islam fighting jas its ethics and morals with combatants and non combatants and even with the prisoners.
fighting is always the last resort in islam in some cases:
•Fighting in the case of self-defense.
•Fighting to defend the right of everyone to believe in God and practice His religion.
•Fighting against brutal oppression and injustice.

some examples from history:
When `Umar entered Jerusalem at the head of a Muslim army in 638 CE, just six years after the Prophet's death, he entered the city on foot, as a gesture of humility in a city sacred to Muslims, Christians, and Jews. There was no bloodshed. There were no massacres or forced conversions.

On the contrary, those who wanted to leave were allowed to do so with all their possessions. Those who wanted to stay were granted protection for their lives, their property, and their places of worship. `Umar very famously declined to pray one of the five daily prayers in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, lest in years to come Muslims might try to turn it into a mosque in his memory. Instead, `Umar cleansed the so-called Temple Mount with rose water and built a small mosque there, where the Dome of the Rock now stands.

All of this is in marked contrast to what happened when the Crusader armies later took Jerusalem. Seventy thousand men, women and children were slaughtered. Any remaining Muslims and Jews were driven out. When the city was recaptured by Salah Ad-Din (Saladin), the Christian inhabitants were granted protection and were escorted to safety by the Muslim army. But those who have a different aim would have us believe that it is Islam that is cruel.

When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) finally entered Makkah at the head of a Muslim army in AH 8, he did so not to force the Makkans to convert, but because they had violated their peace treaty with the Muslims. The Prophet entered with great humility, ordering that there should be no fighting or bloodshed. Instead, he forgave all those who had opposed him and the growth of Islam for so many years. Those who wanted to leave were allowed to do so. The whole city, so impressed by the men they had fought against for so long, converted to Islam.

Another great example that many deliberately choose to ignore is that of the Muslim presence in southern Spain for nearly eight centuries. Described as Islam's Golden Age, this was a time when the Islamic civilization flourished. It was centuries ahead of northern Europe in the way arts and sciences were encouraged and in the way cities and towns were advanced well beyond anything in Germany, France, or England at the same time.

During this Golden Age, the rights of Christians and Jews were respected and honored, and many of them rose to high positions at court. When the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella reconquered southern Spain, Muslims and Jews were either forced to convert to Christianity or were put to death. Mosques and synagogues were desecrated and destroyed. The excesses of the Spanish Inquisition had begun.

We might ask if Islam was taken to America by the sword, or taken to Denmark or Ireland or Poland by the sword. It wasn't. And yet Islam is now the world's fastest growing religion, according to some people.

Islam has a very proud history. If Muslims have acted in a less than perfect way, Islam itself has nothing to be ashamed of. Islam teaches respect for all religions.

i hope that i have lightened u up a little u complete the studying.
