I need help. My mother says not to ever play with a Ouija board. She told me a story that goes like this:
She and three of her friends were playing Ouija like 25 or 20 years ago. Two of her friends were twins. The twins, after playing, moved far, far away, and told my mother that they had explained the Ouija game to their mother. My mother had nightmares for over a year, and she would wake up screaming like she was being murdered. And her other friend that was playing ended up stabbing herself in her sleep. But I highly doubt this story. If you have any personal experiences with a Ouija board that you think may stop me and my friends from playing, please post. I am only 13 and my mother says to NEVER play. But I want other stories before I make up my mind. All I really want is to talk to my dead uncle...

And I don't get that one rule about "never ask them to prove anything because then you are allowing them to freely come into the human world" I just don't get it.

Always honor what your mother says. You are quite young, and possibly not mature enough to handle the power of mind that can be generated by the practice of an ouija board.

In truth, there is no evil, no force that can harm you. However, the power of belief is strong, and can bring about many frightening things. But your mother believes in these things, therefore, you should not use the board until you are older, perhaps out of the house...your uncle knows you want to speak to him. Just that desire is enough to alert him that you are interested in communicating with him. You do not need the board to speak to your uncle. Just talk to him in your mind, and your heart...honor your mother.

Having used a Ouija for divination, I'm gonna recommend that you don't do it.

Not because it's "evil" or because it's "dangerous", but because it's not a toy, and if you don't know what you're doing, you do run the chance of getting into touch with things that you don't know how to deal with. At 13 and asking these questions, I don't think it would be a good idea for you to do.

The board itself is harmless but what is done with it is very, very real. What it will do while you are trying to contact someone that has since passed away, is open a lets call it a portal, and you have know idea what will pass thru this portal. You are trying to contact someone that you love and lost, how do you know that the one you contact is your loved one? Chances are that something evil will pose themselves as your loved one and may do something really nasty. Your mother had nightmares, you don't believe your mother? So you think that your mother is a liar then? What just so you won't use the board? She is very concerned about you using this board. My kids got one for Christmas from their uncle and it went right into the trash. They are and can be very dangerous if used for all the reasons that you are intending. Truly listen to your mother, even if you don't believe her, she loves you and wants you to be safe..........trust me just listen and use your heart to speak to your uncle.

I once was so bored at a party I terrified and taunted some very stupid people with one. But that was because I figured the right angle and pressure to move it without looking or even really feeling like I was moving it.

It's a load of bull, I've even done it on some of the 'ancient' and 'enchanted' ones which were supposed to be real, I laughed quite hard with a few of the answers that came out. I won't say I was directly responsible for them, but I sure had an effect, and chased the people away after I caught them trying to manipulate it.

stay away from it ; I had a bad experience when I was your age; still freaks me today so much that I don't talk about it , the specifics, and I am 50 ; don't open pandora's box. My friends thought it was cool until everyone ran screaming after what happened and the board went in the garbage the next day.

I've heard stories like this from many different people, but I am not really a believe in evil spirits anyway. But I'll tell you what they say - that once you open the door to the spirit world you can't control what spirits come through. You may think you are contacting your dead uncle, but anyone else could come through instead.

a good type of the time, if one or extra human beings do no longer easily believe in spirits and the ouija board somewhat operating, it received't bypass. the first time I performed it, i presumed it replaced right into a hoax and it did not bypass. after i ultimately began believing in it - wager what? It worked! purely believe.

Yep, that's similar to my experience with Ouija decades ago. Don't play with evil. It's bad stuff. Same thing goes for Tarot cards, honey. They're evil.

Sorry, but you cannot contact your dead relative. I know a lady that was milked for $150,000 by a charlatan trying to contact a dead relitive for her.

Don't be anyone's fool.

l
Listen to your mother she is giving you sound advise. The power behind the Ouija board is not some silly trick or your imagination; it is demonic. The movement on the board is done by what is called a familiar Spirit (evil spirit). Involvement in this type of activity can open yourself up to demon oppression which will lead to depression and in some cases suicide. THIS IS NOT JUST SOME HARMLESS, SILLY GAME.

I don't know about your mother's story, but she is right about Ouija boards. At best they are occult nonsense, at worst they bring you in contact with evil. Please, for your own sake, stay away from them. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, but this isn't the way to deal with your grief. Please talk to someone living who can help you.
