This company has the same message but use different numbers and when I called the Fair Trade Commission they said to get the name of the company which the company will not give me when I call this number. I explained they have the wrong number but they keep calling anyways. I am disabled and frustrated with them. One of the numbers they leave a message for me to call back at is 866-530-3819 . Does anyone know who this is so I can send them a certified letter telling them to stop harrassing me?
Also any other advice I can do to make them stop? Thanks!

I already called the phone company and they gave me the number for the Fair Trade Commission and said that is all they can do besides changing my number to unlisted and charging me more for it each month.

I've had a similar problem. I was told by one company that if I tell them they have a wrong number three times in a row, they are supposed to quit calling. Good luck!

Wow I am sorry to hear about this unfortunate experience.

The company sounds unethical and spiteful none the least.

The next time they contact you tell them to put your number on the do not call list. Do you have caller ID? If not the next time they call dial * 69 to contact them back. A recording will tell you the number of the party that just called you.

I checked out if I could perform a reverse look-up of the number on SuperPages.com and no listings were returned. Since this is a toll-free number it is quite difficult to locate the name of the company.

I did call a few moments ago and a recording came on telling me to hold for the next operator.

You may have to become very creative in searching for the company name for the number.

Try looking them up on the website Intelius.com. This website is a great resource in finding out the names of companies or people by telephone number.

Here's their link: https://find.intelius.com/purchase.php.

I already entered the phone number so when you go to the link if you decide to use the service(s) all you have to do is follow the directions to buy the report.

I have used this site before and it does work.

To purchase the report you do have to pay $14.95 but it may be worth a shot to get them to stop calling you and also you can file a claim with FTC with the appropriate info.

And always document you research as you go. You never know you may need to recall this info in the future.

Hope this info has helped you.....

God Bless.....

Send them a certified letter in the mail requesting them to stop calling you. They have to abide by the request or face a fine. Please see the link below for a sample letter. If they do not comply, use the link and select the debt menu and choose the sue your creditors option. It will not automatically sue the creditor, but it will give you the specific law they are violating and the fine.

I had a similar problem- and my phone number was listed- new - but listed- so I told them to call information and ask for the number of me- and it would prove that this is my number and not the person they were looking for- apparently it worked- they stopped calling- yay!
