I saw it on good morning america a few years ago. It was new to the united states and costs around $200.00. It's not a bangal or an ocelot. something different.

Was it this Maine Coon? Isn't he GORGEOUS!

But I don't think you could buy him $200 bucks- maybe $2000 (on the cheap)

The Savannah. And they START at about $2K and go has high as $35K. And since they're part wildcat they're illegal in many areas. They're created by crossing a male Serval with domestic cats and since the Serval is a much larger feline it often KILLS and MAIMS the domestic cats (normally Maus) that it's bred with. Please don't support the death of cats on one breed just to make some idiotic, trendy "hybrid" cat. edit: the Honeybear is NOT a recognized breed in any cat registry and the Maine **** is far from a "new" breed.

Ragdoll is the largest cat breed. However, they're very domestic in appearance - fluffy and gentle.

I think you may be talking about Savannah cats. They're the result of a crossbreed with an African Serval and the domestic cat. I don't have any idea about their cost.

For more information see the website below or search for Savannah cats online.

perhaps the California spangled cat? I can't find a price range, but they are large and wild-looking.

other wild-looking breeds:
the Bombay
the Egyptian Mau
the Ocicat (maybe this is what you mean by ocelot? thought I'd include it just in case you meant the actual ocelot)

if none of these seem to be the thing, I suggest going to your local library and seeing what sort of reference material they have on cats. a book specifically about breeds might be helpful, if there is such a thing.

Perhaps you're thinking of an American Bobtail? Good luck, though, finding a purebred cat like that for only $200 dollars.

Large Maine Coon cats can look very wild and are quite large. The Bengal Cats have spots, but I don't believe they are very large and are certainly expensive. Ragdolls are rather large and very sweet natured.

Dude, go to a shelter instead of having one genetically made to match your drapes. Then go to www.fatcatinc.com and buy a teenie sardini for your cat, they'll love it.

Go here: http://www.feralcat.com/

There may be more breeders in your area, but these people may be able to help you out. We have a Servalcat from here.
