I once had a kitten named Passepartout after the Cantinflas character in Around the World in 80 Days. I didn't know where the cat's name had come from until about 30 years later when I caught an airing of the original on tv. Also a Siamese named Frank Sinatra (ole blue eyes).

I had two cats when I was a kid. They were brother and sister. At that time, Wayne's World on Saturday Night Live was very popular. I named them Wayne and Garth. The female ended up with the name Wayne.

Lets see...
Rory (for Aurora of Sleeping Beauty)
Belle (cause she has a funny bell shaped spot on her nose)
Simba (well, we needed another Disney character)
Captain Jack Sparrow
Gandolf the Grey--(ok, so he's not a Disney character, but he's a beautiful grey short-hair, and I swear is as smart as a human!)
I named the stray that I tamed and adopted out Oliver, but I'm sure he has a new name now.
Last one is Tu-Tu (my roomate named her something unpronounceable like Tutwala)
No, I don't have this many cats now. Just 2.
