As others have reported, there is not any such concern as a "teacup" Yorkie. that's a merchandising time era used by unethical breeders who purposely breed extremely small canine that are in many cases riddled with well being topics. i could propose that earlier you actively seek for a canine, you thoroughly examine the breed first. instruct your self on the breed in many cases happening and what purple flags (like use of the be conscious teacup) are many times linked with Yorkie breeders. it is going to help prepare you for once you do elect somewhat one, assist you to verify if the canine you're choosing is a high quality canine and stop you from being taken advantage of.

There is no such thing as a "teacup" Yorkie! That's the ridiculous name given to overbred, inbred puppies riddled with health problems and sold at outrageously high prices to people who want to be in on the latest trend. Think about it... they're smaller than usual because they breed runts with runts over and over again. And you'll never find one at a "good" price - anything with the stupid name "teacup" in it will most likely be double what you should have to pay for a purebred, healthy dog.

i'd listen to Posey. i've heard a lot of bad things about teacups of any small dog breed. i think i would stick with the regular-sized yorkie just to be safe..
