Should what you believe impact how your live your everyday life? Or, do you think religion is an outlet for our psychological and emotional needs that does not need to change anything in our day-to-day routine?

Religion is the system that you interpret reality.
So it effects your decision making.
It almost neutralizes your effectiveness. Therefore leaving you helpless in problem solving. That's right when the church steps in and saves the day.
Gee how nice of them.

well it should affect the way you live.I don,t really like the word religious as much as just being a christian..Religion will not save you but being a christian will.i would think if you are a christian, you would change your life for the better....in your everyday life it should have an impact on how you treat others, the love you show for your fellow man..like being honest, not being a liar, don,t steal etc etc,,,, and if you should do anything wrong you can repent and try to do better....we are all born in sin but to be a christian you will try to live up to a cretain potential...so yes it would affect how you live....

Yes of course it should influence the way you live.

In Christianity, there are certain "guidelines" as to how God would "like" for you to live your life. But, he will not make you live a certain way. We have the free will to make our own decisions and do our own things.

These guidelines are given to us so that we may grow in spirit and become closer to God. We have these guidelines to show that we have God in our hearts, to please God. If we love God, then we will do his will and receive our gift of eternity in Heaven with him. Religion is about faith. If we can overcome the trials in life by living a Godly life, then God will know that we are faithful and he will spare us.

Absolutely. I love Jesus and want to live a life pleasing to Him. My life should be a living witness of God's grace and goodness. My life should be an example. It pains me to say that I fail often, but He is always ready to forgive me, I try to learn from my errors and try again.

i replaced right into a Christian. i replaced into going to vote for Mitt Romney. yet, previously his wide-spread reached my state, he dropped out. the in elementary words different candidate I loved replaced into Hillary Clinton. So, I voted for Hillary interior the Texas state wide-spread. there replaced into no way in hell I as going to vote for Obama by way of his obvious lack of journey. in my opinion, i do not imagine that is sensible for u . s . a . of america's next president to be a newbie in authorities administration. He hasn't proved himself yet. even with the actual shown truth that, i in my opinion opt for to grant Obama a chance, yet this time in our us of a demands a shown chief. I became Atheist some weeks in the past. I have the alternative between McCain, Barr, and Obama. Now that Obama has picked Biden as his operating mate, I only ought to vote for the Obama/Biden cost tag. Why have I replaced my ideas? this is not because i'm an Atheist. in my opinion, Biden has a lot journey (and that i imagine Biden can be a more advantageous suited President than Obama yet...) and that i ought to like to ensure Joe Biden interior the Whitehouse. although, if John McCain options Mitt Romney as his operating mate, i am going to really vote for the McCain/Romney cost tag. As you will discover, I by no skill suggested some thing that confirmed I fuse my political and (lack of) religous beliefs. So, no, i do not enable my lack of religion influence my political views.

Isn't religion supposed to be a base for morals and values? Isn't that a huge part of religion?
