This is the second Nissan Maxima I'ved owned with the same problem. The first was a 1987 Maxima. Both are in tip top shape. It's got me baffled truly. I've refrained from putting woofers and an amplifier in my trunk because of the leakage. PLEASE ADVISE !!!!!

more then likely, you need an replacement rubber that goes around the top of the trunk, that forms a seal. The rubber could have bene pinched ot torn somehow..look at it and you should see if its worn. Good Luck

the trunk is bent or the rubber part inside is missing, I have a Nissan Sentra 92 and the trunkleaks because it's bent.
