i feel like i have a lump in my throat which i try 2 swallow down and cant it wont move,its not always there either,it is driving me mad!

You don't say how old you are, but you need to see an ear, nose, and throat doctor. It could be a polyp, a cyst, a tumor, a hernia, an abscess... Just get in to see a doctor and he'll look down your throat and see if there's anything there that is interfering with your ability to swallow.

Have you recently started any new kind of medication or drug? Many meds make you have a dry throat which feels like a lump in your throat. Drink lots of water, or clear liquid and you should feel better. Avoid soda.

It's possible that you have post-nasal drip, if you are bothered by allergies, or that you have globus. It's also possible that you are fine. It's best to checked out by your primary health care provider. If a referral is in order, it will most likely be to an ENT who can perform a laryngoscopy to see if there is a structural defect that would explain the phenomenon.

I would visit a doctor if was u. Just to get it checked out, could be a simple infection.

sounds like a throat infection to me, i have the same symptoms at the moment, drink plenty eat salty stuff not too much though. and try some throat lozenges.

Could be GERD, anxiety, enlarged thyroid, etc.

It's certainly something to see a doctor about.

you've eaten something that has scratched you throat and it will get better in a few days try soft food for a few days
