on war on terror. He is a man of great guts and ideas without him i would have been left alone to fight injustice . As saluting this dear friend of nation my eyes somber as friends and master mind like him wont be available to nation for sometime to come.

Rumsfield, hopefully, is just the first of the American Trio of Terror! With any luck two more will follow. Bush is so loyal that at the first sign of public hatred he dropped Rummy like a hot brick.... give him time.. Rumsfled will soon be out on the talk show circuit and write a book no doubt, explaining how it was all everyones elses fault that his little war did not workl... They all make me sick.

My, my, my how history repeats itself. Yes Rummy receives a salute for his contributions. History will determine whether or not he was a good SECDEF. If you remember, LBJ gave Robert S. McNamara a Medal of Freedom after he "resigned." McNamara was the SECDEF during the Vietnam war. If you really want to see some interesting parallels, check out the DVD "The Fog of War," by Errol Morris. It won Best Documentary Feature in 2003.

I salute him too. Does it matter that he was the architect of the biggest military **** up in history? Gosh, no. You run the war with the idiots you got, not the intelligent people you hope to have.
