Hey! That's what I got in the kitchen! The problem you will have is copy protection. At first I thought it was the screen saver causing the problem, but then I did a little research on the internet. Its copy protection all right. Some cd's and tapes have copy protection, some don't. The sound is hard to hear too. I have to crank it up all the way to hear it, sometimes. Oops. You said tv/dvd. I got tv/vcr. If the tv/dvd doesn't record, you should be alright. Oops. You said dvd recorder/vcr. I got dvd/vcr. Hmm. Get a tv/nothing.
