As others have answered, US DVDs' will not play on foreign DVD players and vice versa, due to the different video encoding systems used (NTSC for N.A. and PAL/SECAM for EU and Asia). You will just waste your money unless you have a multi regional player. The player will reject the disc and you will not see a thing. There are sites you can check on the internet that show if you can hack your player using the remote control to play every region though.
