Christians and pagans, not Christians and sponges, what's wrong with you?
The pagan ritual of burning animals on an alter morpherated into the idea of sacrificing Jesus, God's son. Even Abraham wouldn't sacrifice his own son, but God did.
So there is a link between Christians and Pagans, and they see eye-to-eye and a few things.

"Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up."

Sponges puff up, but the foundation of faith and salvation, Jesus, builds up, along with his followers.
