my bf says we should get married
like in 2 years
ll be 20 isnt that too young to get married???
i tell him we should wait until we both finish our careers
and i ask him why should we be married so soon
and he just says that the way it is
but i already talked to him and told him
he will have to wait and he said ok
but why would he want to married so soon?

it is kinda early to be gettin married. you can do anything u wanna do, but u might wanna finish your career first,so you can start fresh, so you'll have money and after that, you can do whatever, get married, have a ton of kids, but right now, if he really loves u, tell him to wait only a little bit longer, but u can still get married though.

ha ha.. careers are a lifetime... (if you wait until your career is over, you won't be getting married until retirement..) however 20 years old is WAY too young to be getting married. Kudos to you for letting him know. However some people really only want the basics out of life... great stability in a job.. and a family that loves him. Perhaps he is just one of those people... all the same, you should live through a couple of experiences first before trying to jump the gun.

It sounds like to me maybe the reason why he is wanting to get married so soon as that he a 100% sure that he wants to be with you forever. And by marring you he knows he will. And i can see where you are coming from too. Cause i would wait also until i had finish my schooling. GOOD LUCK with him and your career!!

maybe he's insecure and feels that marriage is the only way he can hold onto u. 18 is way too young to be married! just be honest and straight with how u feel and want to do. if he can't wait then u should move on. stick with ur feelings. go with what u feel is right.

Girl, you haven't even lived your life yet. You should hold off until you are really ready (mentally, financially.) You have your whole life ahead of you. If he really loves you, he will wait till you are both ready!!!
