25 is cool..if you ask my 7year old when shes allowed a boyfriend she will tell you its when shes 45 years old..once shes been let out of the convent her dad wants her to go to!!!
If im honest though, i think 16years old is the youngest i would let her date a guy...but only once he's been thru the Spanish inquisition i intend to hold him under!

how long is a piece of string
really each girl is different is how you feel yourself and it depends on the type of dating and relationship what is the rush if the right person comes along you will know
and ther is know point in running away to have a relationship what happens if it falls apart
went the time comes speak to your parents and be firm its your life but you want there aproval not to go against them it may open doors
perhaps they were young and missed out they feel on life maybe they want you to enjoy life first thats all

In my opinion, I don't really think that there is a certain age for a gurl to start datin. Probably the best time would be when you that the gurl is mature enough to handle a b/f and everyhting else. Me personally didn't really start datin until about 16. Just be Cool!

I agree with you 25 that's considered old maid material in some cultures. Still at least it proves they care but you could try calling it friends of your own age of the opposite sex as opposed to dating maybe they'll look at that with a more open mind

I say after you finish your studies. Chances are you'll end up concentrating more on this b/f than on your studies, drop out of school or grt pregnant and jump the housing queue and move into a council house leaving me and the other tax payers to finance you and your pathetic little sprogs.

One of my daughters started dating at 13, the other at 14. I was fine with that. I never had any problems with them or their boyfriends.
