Not all girls are into cooking, my daughter is one of those. And once my husband got the hang of it, he became a great cook. All men and women should be able cook and feed themselves, no matter what.

I love to cook because it's something that makes me happy. My husband and I cook for each other, but to go out of one's way to make a special meal implies that your time is worth the effort when it comes to him.

That said, I have a friend who doesn't cook, and she does just fine. She would get take out, expressing that paying someone to do in her stead something she cannot makes said person worth her time.

That said, someone who's insistent about it needs you to evaluate whether or not he has other control issues that would put you into an abusive relationship. If he's hopeful, that's simply hoping he'll find someone who enjoys caring for him in a comforting manner.

Are you kidding me? I would kick her out of the kitchen in two minutes flat. I love to cook and will not have it any other way.

But that being said, I think that it is an essential skill that should be passed on to the young ones. This is an essential part of your culture and heritage so why deny it.

Most men love for their women to cook for them. I guess it depends on the guy, but overall, I would have to say yes.

When I have dated someone that I was very interested in, I made it a point to cook him a meal. Guys really enjoy it. I believe there is truth to the old addage "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach"
