Not that God necessarily created it, but variation in skin pigmentation is an environmental adaptation. Skin and sunlight are closely related. Notice even white construction workers that work without shirts, and sunbathers will get darker skin. The darker pigmentation is a defense against some of the harmful effects of sunlight.
Lighter pigmentation allows the rays of the sun to penetrate a bit deeper. Sunlight, while being harmful in too great quantities is still responsible for creating Vitamin D in the body and for regulating melatonin.
Differing pigmentations allow for the proper balance of these effects based on the amount of time the culture wouls spend in the open.
So, did God create these effects knowing the habits and environments of the peoples, or was it an evolutionary process... The argument continues.

Evolution created white skin from black skin when our prehistoric ancestors migrated north and the sun was much weaker and the temperatures much colder (there was the Ice Age), which caused the skin to produce much less melanin, which is what colors the skin. The prehistoric people in Africa did not experience this change and therefore retained their skin color. This was a slow evolutionary process that took thousands of years to obtain.

God didn't, black skin was an adaption which evolved protecting the skin from harmful ultraviolet sunlight. It likely spread shortly after the mutation which resulted in humans losing most of their body hair. Note that our closest cousins the chimps have light pinkish skin underneath their fur.

Originally, skin was all tan or possibly black. Man originated in Africa, where the skin was used to protect from the sun. As man traveled closer to the pole he needed lighter skinso that he could get enough Vitamin D from the sun to stay healthy. If you want a non-scientific answer, ask a creationist.

You look obsessed in this subject count. incredibly, you and that i the two comprehend that it is not significant what everyone says or how issues are defined. The Mormon Lord is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has continuously been a God of order. no longer a respecter of coloration, yet for sure lineage skill something to the God of the Bible and the e book of Mormon. He constrained particular factors of his gospel from particular human beings. i think of i comprehend why, even though it incredibly concerns no longer what i think of. it incredibly is his selection and that i will opt for to be offended or i will opt for to be humble. In Jesus' day, no Gentile replaced into allowed baptism. Now they are able to. that is me. i'm a Gentile. i'm no longer bitter. i comprehend that for his very own purposes it replaced into this type. in accordance to Mormon doctrine, all could have the advantages of salvation contained in the top besides in the event that they opt for. So, how is that racist? The Bible is in simple terms as racist because of the fact the e book of Mormon, you recognize that don't you? you would be unable to hate on one whilst the different does an analogous. fortuitously the u . s . is a loose u . s . a . and in case you reside right here you're loose to no longer connect the Mormon Church. you're loose to make up your guy or woman God in case you do no longer purely like the between the Bible or of the e book of Mormon. instead of reposting this same question daily, why do no longer you're making up your guy or woman faith?

Skin color is the result of melanin which causes pigmentation. It is an evolved trait that depends on the region you live in. Higher pigmentation protects one from the damaging rays of the sun, therefore those who live in region where there's a lot of it have darker skin.
We get much of the vitamin D we need from sunlight, but melanin tends to inhibit vitamin D absorption from the sun. Those who get less sun in Northern climates need to have less melanin to inhibit the absorption. That means they have lighter skin.

Because God doesn't exist. Black skin is the norm. All others are mutations which allowed humans to better adapt to different environments.
