Wasn't this country founded on Christianity and slavery?

Didn't the founding fathers intend it to be a patriarchy?

Doesn't that sound a little crazy to you?

Yes... all this sounds crazy. Also this country was not founded on Christianity! Most of the of the founding fathers were deists... i.e. believed in a creator, but not organized religion and fairy tales! The reason for the decline of such belief is because now Atheism make more sense that it used to in the past before advance in science.
I think If someone can't prove that something is God's will, then they should shut up! Of course nor can they proof that God exists and that's exactly the point! So lets stop this needless superstition and find a cure.
The Best part of being an atheist is that you lose these lens of imaginary lies off your eyes. No more angels flying around, no more God blowing wind, no more devils spreading evil...etc. Its all cause and effect, and what you see is what is real... it had this click feeling that all the pieces fit together.

you are allowing your perspective to interfere with your research.
Lets examine just one of these.
Slavery---In those times a slave was totally taken care of by His master. Many decided to continue to be a slave after their commitment was over. True there were bad slave owners just as there are bad employers. Those owners had visibility and suffered social sanctions by those who watched.
Lets look at todays employers. You get a job and never know your employers, becuase they are on a board somewhere and they hire sociopaths to do their dirty work. In the end in the name of profit people get used up and thrown away without any social ostrcization. Todays job is very likely worse than being a slave. Then there was a contract and if the person could not do their work because they were sick or starving or could not get any sleep. It was wise then to have a healthy slave or you did not back your investment. You could not use a person up throw them away and get another one and do the same and meanwhile enjoy social status, and nobody knows what you're doing.

with regards to punishment it is my opinion that God set up a system in which choice was included and it is not very often He interferes with that. Imagen the amount of energy required to micro manage a project like this. Many I think suffer from the delusion that God micro manages the universe. There is very likely a system for things such as answering prayer that are programed into the prayer at birth. Such as in order for programed internal abilities to heal from such things as addictions the person must think certain things first and AA I think has isolated these. This could have been programed in from the beginnning so one need not micro manage.
I do think He has done some micro managing to accomplish certain course correction techniques and maybe even in the lives of people who are here to affect the bigger picture but just my opinion there is a system that handles most things. I do not see our creator as one who is not bound by such rules as those of physics but one intelligent enough to use these rules to accomplish His plans which for the most part are to preserve His creation as long as He can and to dvelop companions for further works. I also know there is no way I can appreciate the enormity of His project.

It's always dangerous to say that something is a punishment for something else. Surely God does deal out blessings and punishments, but He does so in a way that it's very difficult for us, with our limited view to see which are connected to which (or even when things that appear to be a punishment are secretly blessings).

I assume this question is mostly a joke anyway, so I guess that's enough.
