Pills are never the answer, they simply dont work, regardless which celebrity is the spokes person. I have a hard time going to the gym every day simply because I am lazy like you lol, its the winter and all I want to do is eat and sleep but then the pounds creep up and are hard to shed. What gets me motivated is thinking about wearing a bikini, im going to mexico soon too dont want any pudge hanging around and the reaction people give you. I always feel soo much better about myself when im there and after. The hardest part about going to work out is putting your shoes on.. Im sure you've heard that quote before. Anyways when I'm at the gym I find myself able to work longer and harder by just bringing my handy dandy ipod. When I work out I cant listen to some slow song it has to be a rap or hip hop song with a good beat that you can blare, it really does keep your mind off of the sweat running down your neck and the time flies by.

You have to get back into the habit of going to the gym either before or after work. I am sooooo not an early morning exerciser, so I would go after work. Have your gym stuff with you in your car or at work so there's no going home before the gym. It will be hard at first, but once you start seeing the results again it will motivate you to keep going. Perhaps find a friend to work out with that also wants to get back into shape.

Once you start, fight your way in the gym. beat all the resistance. then do it again, three times a week. then expect no less but no more each week. it will become a part of your life, when its consistent. You won't even have to think about it after a few months, its automatic. but don't stay on a break for too long, you'll lose all the gains you made. and then you're body will be in consistent great shape as well. half lifting; half cardio

Boy I hear ya on this one. I'm in Pennsylvania, dealing with the same issue. Can you afford to buy an inexpensive elliptical or treadmill? Put an ad in the paper for one. I do about 45 minutes on my elliptical and watch movies or whatever, mostly "Sex in the City." I try and trick myself into thinking, "ooh, I get to watch T.V. now!" ha Anyway, go walking outside at a fast pace, too. That's free and you don't need any special equipment. Do some google searching for other ideas. Wishing you the best!

Try something different you can do at home, like yoga. Buy a video, get some aroma therapy candles, put on some nature sounds, and go for it. Its a great winter or summer exercise you can do at home or outdoors. You can do yoga for strength, flexibility, endurance, tone, or all of them.
