You very likely have fluid in your inner ears which is causing the dizziness. I regularly get a small amount of fluid when I have a head cold (or am recovering from one). It's nothing to worry about and will go away shortly. Your body will reabsorb the fluid.

In the meantime, have fun with it. It's great fun to annoy your significant other by letting him/her know every time the world goes sideways. Folks who've never had vertigo really don't know how much they are missing!

Are you eating enough and getting enough sleep? you may need a physical if you haven't gone to the doctor in a while. It could be a million things, pregnancy, illness, stress....see a professional who can tell you for sure.
