My little sister has had her learners license for a year and 2 months. She was supposed to have it for a year with no traffic violations and she would be eligible for her regular license, she got a ticket last night and i was wondering becuase she has had it over a year and had no violations in that year, if she can still get her license or if she has to wait another year?

The correct answer is that it depends on exactly what state you're in, and what she got the ticket for. If it's just a normal moving violation (speeding, etc) or parking violation, she should be OK to get the license, but I'd suggest doing it promptly, before the ticket gets posted to her record, just to be safe.
If the ticket was for something major like DUI, hit and run, or a major accident involving any injury, she has a major problem. In fact, if it's in Illinois, she won't be able to reapply to get a license until age 21 if that's the case. Hope this info helped.

Yeah, usually this is a matter that varies with different states, but the limit is 1 year across the states. Some states only require 6 months of a clean driving record with a permit. She should be fine though!
