God used to interact with humans all the time. Sending prophets, parting seas, impregnating people.... Now, nothing. He doesn't even talk to us anymore. Except of course to the mentally insane. I'm saying, God, what's up with that?!

Does healing the sick really count as a miracle, when if God controls all, he's the one who made us sick in the first place?

The Lord still speaks all the time.

If you are waiting for a billboard sign or a voice to fall out of heaven, well you'll be waiting a while.

There are preachers ("prophets") who stand behind pulpits every sunday. I encourage you to go sit in on a church service sometime.

The best way the Lord speaks to us is through the Scriptures. The Apostle Paul sais it best in his 2nd letter to Timothy Chap 3
15 Since you were a child you have known the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise. And that wisdom leads to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by God and is useful for teaching, for showing people what is wrong in their lives, for correcting faults, and for teaching how to live right. 17 Using the Scriptures, the person who serves God will be capable, having all that is needed to do every good work.

If you really want to hear from the Lord, he will speak, but probably not in your way, but His way. Surrender to His Will and He will lead the way for you.

Hope that helps some

Jesus Loves You

I've seen prophets of God countless times. I've had personal prophecies. I've seen physical miracles performed before my eyes. Get in the ministry or go on a mission's trip and see God's work.

Every salvation of a person is a miracle. The angels in heaven 'throw a party'.

That's 2 billion miracles and 2 billion praties. Heaven sounds pretty awesome.

not true actually...God talked to me recently....no I'm not insane...about a month ago i posted a question on here and asked for Christians to IM me because we are doing way of the masters (with kirk Cameron) in Sunday school (it is an evangelism guide)you have to ask questions to Christians and ask them how well they follow the ten commandments and after that you tell them how to be forgiven and that God just doesn't forgive so easily as we think.anyways i was talking to this guy about it on AIM and he was giving me hard time and being difficult about what i was trying to get at and he was just screwing around and i was definitely trying to hard. so i told him to wait a second and i just sat back and prayed i said "God please help me to get through to this guy. I need your help with words" then i took a deep breath and started typing again. except it wasnt me...i didnt even know what i was typing i just was and as i was reading what was on the screen i was amazed that i even knew that stuff...before i prayed i didnt truly understand what i was doing and what i was saying but as soon as i prayed and took a minute everything i said and did made sense. I was completly dumbfounded about what had just happened and to tell you the truth i was even having doubts about the existence of God until that day and never again will i doubt him. God doesnt actually talk to you...its not like a voice you can hear. Its not like the clouds part and a ray of sunshine shines down on you and you hear a mans voice...no...but God still does talk to people daily you just dont know about it

Take a look at the time frame - God didn't interact with humans 'all the time.' In the Bible, God's interaction with humans was usually once every several centuries. Nearly 2000 years separated Adam from Noah, several hundred years from Noah to Abraham, several hundred years from Joseph to the Exodus, several hundred years from the Exodus to David, several hundred years from Solomon to the Prophets, several hundred years from the prophets to Christ, etc.

He doesn't have too. He sent us all the information we need in His word, the Bible. God interacts in my life everyday, I live the impossible. Just because I don't see seas parting before me, doesn't mean I don't see the hand of God in my life. God is very real, very active, and very much on His throne.

I'm glad you asked that question. I have wanted for so long to answer that question, and could not find it.
The last we heard from God himself, was during the time of the prophet Malichi, and God said he was thinking of smiting the Earth with a curse.
Before that God had declared his contempt for the human race, and at one point said he regretted ever creating humans. He made clear his hatred of human culture, for example in Isaiah he said "Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth."
I heard somewhere that God actually packed up and went to another region of the universe, and when leaving turned one last time and said "You're on your own, perverts." I heard that from two different sources, and I wasn't one of them.

God talks to many perfectly sane people everyday. Perhaps you are not listening? God relates to those who are his. God has promised that all who seek the truth will find him it is very true. Those that know him hear his voice but he speaks to all sometimes we just don't know him or recognize that he is speaking.
