FYI - Here's a link to his church. http://www.purposedriven.com/en-US/Home.htm

Is he doing anything un-biblical? Why are some Christians targeting him? I don't get it. =/

I think people are jealous of the size of his ministry- sad really since we all have the same goal of living a christian life and telling others about God.

I think we target him because he gets hung up on his purposes for the chruch not God's purposes. It has really divided the church over the last decade or two and watered down the Bible considerably. God promised us through the Word that in the last days the church would become apostate and lukewarm, and from what I have witnesses of his teaching infiltrating the church his is one of the main sources for the apostacy that is surging in.

not much..... If you are not of The True Christian Faith it would take an indepth Bible study to explain. Basicaly, Being of the True Christian Faith aint easy... Ricky seeks to make it easy... I went through His program with a group of very strong Christian men... I was the weakest of the lot... and without exception his work was judged to be very hollow and watered down doctrin. That is the politest I can put it.

I don't know too much about him, and I don't have time now to check your link, (but I will later, I promise,) but I have read his book "Purpose Driven Life" and I can tell you that it is a very honest and direct book, one which every person, Christian or non, should read through at least once. I personally like to quote the opening lines of this book, which goes something like: "It's not about you, it never was about you, it is all about him (God)."

I think He is a blessing.
I am involved in the Celebrate Recovery at my Church. I have read the purpose driven life. It was a good read. I don't think there's anything wrong with him. I hope God blesses him and his family.

Rick Warren is a purpose driven false prophet. The message he's preaching isn't Biblical. Shame on him! If he's not preaching God's Word, he's preaching satans! He's added his own words to suit his ministry.

"You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." Deut. 4:2

"And the LORD said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart." Jeremiah 14:14

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galations 1:6-9

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matthew 7:15-23
