My best mate had a 3 week relationship with this girl and they argued and fell out constantly. He liked her for ages before and during i was doing my best to keep them together. It hit him really hard and really upset him when she dumped him. It's about a month after now and the girl has started being very flirty with me and i get the feeling she likes me, and shes implyed she does. How long is an acceptable time after?

I think it really is never okay, because you're bound to lose his friendship. Maybe talk it over with him and see what he says.
I am engaged to my ex boyfriend's ex best friend, so... but, he lied, cheated and then dumped me, so I think it's okay. HAHA. My fiance stopped being his friend because of what he did to me. Oh well.
If you want to stay friends with him, talk it over. You probably should just forget the girl. She may only be doing that to hurt your friend anyway.

It is never a good idea to date a friend especially a best friend's ex girl. Now you have to decide do you value the friendship or the possible booty call.
