I have to take a driver improvement class tomorrow in VA. What can I expect to happen? And what could they possible spend 8 hours talking about? Thanks.

From the Virginia DMV:

they will spend most of the time talking about not doing the things you've done that landed you in a driver improvement class

Well they are going to review all of the rules of the road, and probably show some sort of movies or videos about driving. You may have to take a test and answer questions of what you learned. Just make sure to bring the paper original with you. You may need it if this is court ordered.
