Its been about a year now since my friend somewhat forced me to play WoW, and at the time I said that I would never pay 15 bucks a month to play a game. Due to a living expense "misunderstanding" with my friend...and former room mate, I no longer have any friends, and all I have to remember is my /played, 30 days on my old main, and 39 days (almost 40) on my new main.

My question today is what other is there to do out there besides WoW? I'm thinking of quitting since I will be more busy finishing up my degree next semester. I don't really want anything physical to do though, although I could really use some ideas to pass the time (and to keep me sane though all of my classes)

Sorry, I forgot to mention again that I DON'T want a girlfriend, or any friends, EVER again.

Yeah...

there are many things you can do in life, but they all fit into three categories.....

1) Better yourself
2) Entertain yourself
3) Help others with the first two.

Personally, **** the last one, second you are getting a degree and you dont want to get physically active so you got category 1 handled, all you really have is a void of entertainment, not a void in life, you will become extremely depressed like that, and don't get depressed over a freikin game.

So find somehthing to do. I play WOW also, and MMORPGs are great for entertainment, and for eating huge huge huge amounts of time. I play so much, because I don't really have any hobbies, not the most pyhsically active guy, but in good health, and I am in college, so when I am not bettering myself, all there really is to do in my area is to hang out with friends and play video games.

So fill up your entertainment category, try new things, if it sucks throw it to the side and try something new. Get a new roommate, make new friends, buy a cheap dirt bike, etc.

I don't believe what you said about NEVER wanting a girlfriend again, but there are ways to meet people in a non-romantic setting.

Check on Yahoo groups - there are probably tons in your area.
Join a book club
Volunteer
Learn a new skill or hobby
Take a fun class

I'd highly recommend you stop using WoW for whatever role you're letting it play. It's a GAME, not life.

Sounds like a good oppotunity to make some new freinds. There should be some kind (probably lots of) social clubs at your school. What other things there are to do...! A whole world to explore my freind honestly dont know where to start.

Sorry, I have no earthly idea what WoW is or how you play it.

Merry Christmas!
